As the year 2020 drew to a close, the Personal Finance Budgeting and Planning category saw varied performances among its top applications on the Android platform in France. Sensor Tower provides detailed insights into these trends, revealing how each app fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Paylib, le paiement mobile, despite generating no revenue, experienced a significant uptick in both downloads and weekly active users. Downloads grew from 18K in the last week of September to over 26K in the first week of December before slightly declining to 20K at the year's end. Similarly, active users rose from 22K to a peak of nearly 35K in early December, ending the quarter at around 29K.

Bankin' showed a more fluctuating pattern with its revenue peaking at nearly $9.5K at the end of November, while downloads saw a high of 14K in mid-October. The app's weekly active users experienced a steady growth throughout the quarter, starting at 141K and reaching a high of nearly 179K by the last week of December.

Tricount - Split group bills had modest revenue figures, starting at $234 and reaching $376 by the end of December. The app's downloads saw a significant jump, from 6.7K to 23.4K, in the same period. Active users also reflected this growth, moving from 58K to over 77K.

Budget planner—Expense tracker revealed a consistent revenue throughout the quarter, with a slight peak of $609 at the end of November. Downloads ranged between 2K and 3K, while active users showed a gradual increase from around 14K to nearly 15K by the quarter's end.

Lastly, 1Money: expense tracker budget saw its revenue move in a narrow band between $498 and $591. Downloads and weekly active users both experienced growth, with downloads peaking at 693 in the last week of December and active users increasing from 5.7K to 6.7K throughout Q4.
